Big Valley Towing has been a cornerstone of the Las Vegas towing industry for over 15 years. Founded in 2006 by "Big Dann" Collins and his wife, Debbie Collins, our company was born from a passion for helping people and a commitment to excellence in towing and transportation services.
Today, under the leadership of Jose Norena, we continue to build on this strong foundation, combining decades of industry experience with cutting-edge expertise.
Our Story
On August 24, 2011, our company faced a profound loss when "Big Dann" Collins tragically passed away while doing what he loved – helping others on the road. In the face of this adversity, Debbie Collins stepped forward to continue her husband's legacy, embodying the resilience and dedication that defines Big Valley Towing.
Today, Jose Norena leads Big Valley Towing with the same commitment to excellence and customer service that has been our hallmark since day one. His extensive certifications in Light, Medium, Heavy, and Ultra Heavy Duty towing and recovery from prestigious organizations such as CTTA, TRAA, AAA, Miller Industries, and ATRI, along with his Emergency Management certification from F.E.M.A., ensure that Big Valley Towing remains at the cutting edge of the industry.
Continuing a Vision
Our journey began with "Big Dann" Collins, who brought 15 years of prior towing industry experience to establish Big Valley Towing. His vision was to create a company that would set the standard for reliability, professionalism, and customer care in the Las Vegas area. This legacy of service has been carried forward and expanded upon by subsequent leadership, ensuring that Big Valley Towing remains at the forefront of the industry.
Jose Norena, our current Operating Owner, brings over three decades of towing experience to Big Valley Towing. His career began in 1988 with the LAPD O.P.G. system in Los Angeles, followed by extensive experience in San Diego where he mastered medium and heavy-duty towing. Since 2001, Jose has been an integral part of the Las Vegas towing community, handling a wide range of vehicles and equipment for law enforcement, U.S. government agencies, and both national and international corporations.
